blind

eye don't know why eye write,
why eye find the need to see,
to wipe away the sweat and tears
to see, to breathe, to be.
to see the center of it all,
to look inwards and outwards,
to search within myself.
eye find so much
and yet so little
because eye am empty,
a blank stare, a hole
looking but not seeing,
searching but not finding.
eye look inside and outside
not knowing why eye see,
why eye am blind to everything.
but when eye look away
into eyes other than my own,
eye see so much more
and eye am blind no longer.
