cold turkey

I'm not going to play mah jong today, I'm just not. I'm not going to dream about mah jong tonight, I'm just not. I'm not going to be tempted by mah jong ever, I'm just not.

And I haven't played it yet today. So there.

I hate being addicted to useless computer games.

    I CAN RELATE TO THIS. really well. i won't tell you the name of the game because i don't want you to get addicted, but it is a problem.

A bunch of people have asked me about Sam's birth. So here are more details (and pictures) than anyone ever wanted. Enjoy! (Also, I wrote this a few weeks ago. It's amazing to see how much he has changed over the past seven weeks. Time flies when you are sleep deprived.) convos with a prego lady

Truth: pregnancy has made me rather cynical. I try to keep it hidden most of the time (and usually David is the one who bears the brunt of my pent-up sass. He is a champion). I'm not sure why cynicism is a current symptom I am experiencing. It may be due to the fact that I recently read a quote that opened my eyes to all of the nonsensical things people say to fill up space.
