Life lessons learned in 2010:
- Defenestration is not necessarily the best form of conflict resolution.
- Gnomes make life 100% more exciting (especially when you have not one, but a whole gaggle of them living with you).
- Transient paresthesia in the extremities (especially the phalanges) can have interesting side effects.
- Eating meatballs on a cloudy day will always be entertaining.
- The mailman will always deliver (unless, of course, it is a mail-woman - she always delivers, too).
- Phone calls to Mom are life saving.
- Alfajors may or may not cause diabetes (but they are dang delicious, so I will not complain).
- Work is only a 11.5 minute speed-walk away.
- Hawaiian hot spots are dangerous to play with.
- Time passes more quickly than I ever realized.
- Prayers are always (and I mean ALWAYS) answered.
- Boys and girls can be silly (myself included).
- Chocolate chips and whole milk make the best food babies.
- Computer science can be conquered.
- Reading is therapeutic.
- Jigsaw puzzles are addicting.
- Mad cow disease + gnomes = just plain weird.
- Laughrosy is highly contagious.
- Roommates are da' bomb diggity!
- Abstract poetry is wonderful.
- If you multiply 21 by 95.714285714285714285 you get an overall interesting year!
Love this.
