year in review

Life lessons learned in 2010:
  1. Defenestration is not necessarily the best form of conflict resolution.
  2. Gnomes make life 100% more exciting (especially when you have not one, but a whole gaggle of them living with you).
  3. Transient paresthesia in the extremities (especially the phalanges) can have interesting side effects.
  4. Eating meatballs on a cloudy day will always be entertaining.
  5. The mailman will always deliver (unless, of course, it is a mail-woman - she always delivers, too).
  6. Phone calls to Mom are life saving.
  7. Alfajors may or may not cause diabetes (but they are dang delicious, so I will not complain).
  8. Work is only a 11.5 minute speed-walk away.
  9. Hawaiian hot spots are dangerous to play with.
  10. Time passes more quickly than I ever realized.
  11. Prayers are always (and I mean ALWAYS) answered.
  12. Boys and girls can be silly (myself included).
  13. Chocolate chips and whole milk make the best food babies.
  14. Computer science can be conquered.
  15. Reading is therapeutic.
  16. Jigsaw puzzles are addicting.
  17. Mad cow disease + gnomes = just plain weird.
  18. Laughrosy is highly contagious.
  19. Roommates are da' bomb diggity!
  20. Abstract poetry is wonderful.
  21. If you multiply 21 by 95.714285714285714285 you get an overall interesting year!
Huzzah for 2010!
