from awhile back...

You know that picture I painted awhile ago? The crazy green one with an abstract theme? I offered an ice cream cone to the lucky winner who guessed its name. And since everyone participated so enthusiastically, the only guesser gets an ice cream cone (or a brownie or a slab of monkey meat, whichever you prefer).

And in case you were wondering (nobody has asked but I'm still dying to tell), the picture is entitled, "Farmer's Blow Gone Awry."

A bunch of people have asked me about Sam's birth. So here are more details (and pictures) than anyone ever wanted. Enjoy! (Also, I wrote this a few weeks ago. It's amazing to see how much he has changed over the past seven weeks. Time flies when you are sleep deprived.) convos with a prego lady

Truth: pregnancy has made me rather cynical. I try to keep it hidden most of the time (and usually David is the one who bears the brunt of my pent-up sass. He is a champion). I'm not sure why cynicism is a current symptom I am experiencing. It may be due to the fact that I recently read a quote that opened my eyes to all of the nonsensical things people say to fill up space.
