i'm a squiggler!

Someone complimented me today on the uniformity of my squiggly lines. I've never paid attention to my squiggly lines before. I usually just squiggle! But now I am afraid I have OCD on a subconscious level - squiggly lines aren't meant to be uniform and exactly alike! What's the fun of being creative if your creativity is limited to being all the same? Somehow (and I honestly don't know how!), I've managed to do the impossible: I've uniformed the squiggle!

(Note: I just tried drawing a bunch of squiggly lines in paint to demonstrate, except my paint skills are lacking. I'll have to scan in a page of squiggles - then maybe you will understand).

A bunch of people have asked me about Sam's birth. So here are more details (and pictures) than anyone ever wanted. Enjoy! (Also, I wrote this a few weeks ago. convos with a prego lady

Truth: pregnancy has made me rather cynical. I try to keep it hidden most of the time (and usually David is the one who bears the brunt of my pent-up sass. He is a champion). I'm not sure why cynicism is a current symptom I am experiencing. It may be due to the fact that I recently read a quote that opened my eyes to all of the nonsensical things people say to fill up space.
