wrong (again)

I was silent in the back seat
(I had nothing to say),
while you talked and talked
about things that seem so relevant,
yet, in the end, don't matter at all (to me).
I finally spoke
(I wish I didn't),
commenting quietly on what I dared to think.
I now want to bite my tongue,
because when I speak to you,
I am reminded (by you),
just how wrong I am
(and will always be)
with everything.
